14 Great YouTube Channels for Car Fans!

If you are a car enthusiast like me you probably like watching YouTube videos with car reviews, latest news or plain awesome exotic cars.

I have compiled a list of my favorite YouTube channels with a few comments on each. Let me know what you think and give me any suggestions for other awesome channels I missed.

1. EVOTV

Great channel from Britain focused mainly on exotic car reviews. They update with a reasonable frequency and are a little heavy on Ferrari’s.

2. FLDetours

Nice channel with reviews on new cars. The update frequency is probably once a week but the reviews are thorough. Not crazy about the style of the presentation but they do make good efforts to be objective.

3. FastLaneDaily

Coming from the same team of journalists and car enthusiasts. Monday through Wednesday they offer a news show that is quite funny and enjoyable. Presenter is Derek D that I find very pleasant to follow. Thursdays and Fridays are filled with more serious discussions about cars that I haven’t managed to follow that closely. But take a look and you won’t be disappointed.

4. Autocar

British channel with tons of car reviews that you should certainly check out.

5. MotorTrend

Excellent channel with tons of reviews focused on performance cars. They have multiple tests around the track and I like their approach.

6. RoadflyTV

I discover this channel by chance and they have multiple reviews. They update weekly on average and the presenters/reviewers are really good. I like their approach and they are very objective. Also a couple of cute girls…

7. Edmunds InsideLineVideo

Coming with the great reputation of Edmund’s this channel could not be anything less than great. I do find their reviews a bit stale though and lacking imagination.

8. CarAndDriver

A channel coming from the famous automotive magazine. Good reviews and a “Name that exhaust” section.

9. KelleyBlueBook

Also with a good reputation, their reviews are nice but I don’t quite like their very serious presentations. This is a matter of personal taste though.

10. Carscomm

Cars.com offers nice car reviews that will add to your favorite channels. It’s good to get a different opinion on any car.

11. TheSmokingTire

Another great channel by car enthusiasts. Mostly focused on race and exotic cars with nice interviews sometimes. I am a fan of their funny and light approach. Take a look!

12. Autoexpress

Autoexpress has tons of good reviews and will keep you updated on the latest releases.

13. Urgetodrive

A channel that is all about beautiful women driving exotic cars. What more do you want? Relatively new but fun to watch.

14. TopGear/Fifth Gear

I don’t think any of them need any special introduction. You should be familiar with both if you are an enthusiast. TopGear is probably the most popular show on BBC today. The YouTube videos are not very recent but certainly worth watching.

How To Land Disney Channel Auditions For Free

For many kids, the dream of working on a Disney Channel show or movie may seem like a fantasy too good to ever come true. But the reality is that if someone is determined enough and willing to work hard, anything is possible – even acting on a Disney show! Every person who ever worked one of the networks shows had to start somewhere, from the big famous stars right down to the bit role players and background extras.

The network still conducts talent searches in various cities each year, and most are open calls where anyone within a specified age range can attend. And it does not matter if they are signed with a talent agent, or if they have had previous acting experience – although taking acting classes and doing plays can help tremendously.

In addition to the annual general talent searches, DC shoots various shows and movies in cities outside of Los Angeles, and the casting directors sometimes hold open casting calls for specific roles in those cities. Examples are the High School Musical movies which were all filmed in the Salt Lake City area, and the Camp Rock movies which were all filmed in the Toronto area.

As far as any fees or costs associated with DC talent searches, open casting calls, and auditions – there are none! Auditions are always completely free of charge to attend. The only exception is for extras. Disney Channel always contracts out to extras casting companies to hire the extras for their productions. The individual extras casting companies often charge a small fee that may cover photo imaging, administrative costs, etc. This fee is commonly about $15 – $30.

Be aware that there are several unscrupulous websites operating that “scrape” or steal free Disney auditions and casting information from legit websites and use that information to lure people into signing up for a pay-subscription website. They NEVER uses pay-subscription websites for their casting needs, speaking roles or otherwise. Disney Channel auditions, talent searches, and casting calls are always available completely free of charge.

Some of the shows and movies for 2013 include the pilot episodes of “Girl Meets World,” “I Didn’t Do It”; the series “Austin & Ally,” “A.N.T. Farm,” “Jessie,” “Good Luck Charlie,” “Dog with a Blog,” “Shake It Up!”; and the Disney Channel Original Movies “Cloud 9,” “Adventure Quest,” “The Little Leftover Witch,” and “Toy Story of Terror” which is a TV special slated to debut on or around All Hallow’s Eve 2013 on Disney Channel.
